Bopeep collects as little as possible. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.
What we store on your device
Settings (display name, difficulty, accessibility options) and your daily progress are saved in your browser's local storage so the game remembers your preferences. This isn't a cookie—we never read it on the server unless you choose to submit a score.
Leaderboard
If you finish a daily field and leave “Submit my scores” enabled in Settings, we send your display name, move count, and an anonymous client id to our database so you can appear on the leaderboard. Turn that off anytime—your local progress still saves, but nothing is uploaded.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly Vercel Analytics for aggregate page views—no personal profiles, no ad tracking, and nothing sold to third parties.
